Lloyd Greer, better known as Will, has been coaching with the Appleton Soccer Club for the past 7 years.  During that time Will has grown in the game of soccer by upgrading his license to a USSF B license from the United States Soccer Federation (USSF) and through numerous hours on the pitch.  Will also holds a Bachelors degree in Sports and Recreation Management as well as teaching Certification for grades 1 thru 8.

Will has coached players ranging from ages 5 to Division III College programs.  He is currently the assistant men’s coach at Lawrence University in Appleton.   Before coming to Lawrence University, Will was the assistant women’s soccer coach at Marian University in Fond du Lac, WI.  Before joining the coaching world, Will spent his playing days with the El Cajon Hotspurs in San Diego and Minneapolis Kickers. Will was also a four-year member of the Minnesota Olympic Development Program. His college playing days were played at Viterbo University as well as the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse where he guided the Eagles to a National tournament.

Working with the college age players is a very rewarding experience, but he enjoys teaching the game of soccer to the young players who are first developing a love of the game.   Will is currently the Head Coach for the U13 Boys Red and U12 Boys Red teams.  He will also be training the other teams in these age groups.   Using his past experience as a trainer for each of these age groups, Will is excited to work with this very talented group of players.  

As Will starts his new position with ASC he will be getting himself more familiar with all of the aspects within ASC.  He is looking forward to teaching all  ASC players the skill set they will be using to remain competitive on the soccer field as they mature.  He will also be working closely with ASC coaches providing them with the tools they need to teach players. 

Will and his wife Jodi, along with children Aidan and Alivia live in Appleton and enjoy what this community has to offer. It is a wonderful place to raise a family and to teach the game he loves.
